Abstract | We have developed a fast, accurate and scalable solver for the high-frequency 3D Helmholtz equation in heterogeneous acoustic media. The solver is based on the method of polarized traces and is coupled with distributed linear algebra libraries and pipelining of the many sources to achieve a sublinear online runtime with respect to the total number of unknowns. |
