Antoine Jacquey
  • Postdoctoral Associate 2020-2021
  • PhD, RWTH Aachen, 2017
Biographical Overview
Dr. Jacquey was a postdoctoral associate in ERL / Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering working with Prof. Ruben Juanes. He is now an assistant professor at Polytechnique Montréal. His research focuses on understanding the multiphysics controlling the deformation of porous rocks with a particular interest towards induced seismicity phenomena. He received his doctoral degree from the RWTH Aachen in Germany in 2017. Before joining MIT, he worked at the GFZ Potsdam (German Research Centre for Geosciences) on modeling coupled thermo-hydro-mechanical processes in faulted geothermal reservoirs and on modeling the dynamics controlling the brittle-ductile transition.
