Biographical Overview
Anna started her career as a geophysical interpreter with Mobil Oil in 1980. Since then she has worked for Saudi Aramco, Texaco, Kerr-McGee, IHRDC and Interpretation3. She has worked as an individual contributor as well as held leadership positions within many sectors of the energy sector, such as new ventures, exploration, technology, strategic planning and business improvement. Anna joined ERL as Executive Director in September of 2011. As ERL’s Executive Director, Anna acts as the key liaison between ERL research partners both within MIT and with outside industry sponsors to ensure smooth communication and technology transfer between academic and industrial settings. She helps expand the Lab’s outreach to existing and new industry research partners, support the development of research plans and budgets, and work with faculty and advisors to develop and implement strategic plans for ERL going forward.
