Luis Cueto-Felgueroso is a Ramón y Cajal Research Fellow at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a research affiliate of Prof. Ruben Juanes' lab at MIT. He received his PhD from the University of A Coruña, Spain. He then came to the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at MIT as a Postdoctoral Fellow. From there he became a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Luis searches for simple mathematical descriptions of complex processes in flow through porous media, in ecohydrology, and in network systems. His approach is strongly quantitative, relying on high-resolution numerical simulation.
