On August 17, 2021, Eric succesfully defended his PhD thesis entitled “Analyzing the Collective Behavior of Earthquakes to Better Understand Fault Mechanisms.” His advisor was Prof. Robert van der Hilst of ERL and the MIT Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Studies.
