Bio: Ayako is a PhD student in Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences, working with Prof. Frank. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Earth and Planetary Sciences in 2019 and her Master’s degree in 2021 with the Highest Honor from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan. She is working on the mechanism of deep-focus earthquakes and low-frequency earthquakes.
