Congratulations to our newest alumnus, Dr. Bruno Gonçalves da Silva!!! Earlier today he successfully defended his PhD thesis in Civil and Environental Engineering entitled “Fracturing processes and induced seismicity due to the hydraulic fracturing of rocks” He is shown here with his advisor, Prof. Herbert Einstein. Dr. Gonçalves da Silva already has a job lined up as an assistant professor at New Jersey Institute of Technology!
