George Dresen, GFZ German Resource Center for Geosciences

Georg Dresen from the GeoForschungsZentrum in Potsdam, Germany will visit MIT and ERL 10/06-10/12. He and his group are at the forefront of using AE technology to interpret mechanical results. ERL researchers may remember his visit in 2013. He has kindly offered to present three lectures on topics relating to seismotectonics and to summarize current work at the GFZ which includes hydrofracture experiments.
