Biographical Overview:

Dr. Scarinci completed his PhD in 2021, working with Prof. Youssef Marzouk, and now works at Amazon. He is interested in uncertainty quantification applications in seismic inverse problems. He is also interested in multidisciplinary aircraft system design and natural language modeling to facilitate systems engineering processes. He previously worked as a propulsion control engineer at Airbus for two years before moving to Boston. Outside work, he was part of the MIT chamber choir and passionate about music, cinema and anthropology.
