Bio: Dr. Rezeau was an Assistant Professor and held the Lundin Chair in Economic Geology at the University of Arizona from 2022 to 2025. He recently joined the MIT Energy Resources Laboratory (ERL) as a Research Scientist.

Dr. Rezeau’s research focuses on the ore-forming potential of arc magmas and the application of geochemistry to magmatic-hydrothermal ore systems. I am particularly interested in: (1) the behavior of volatiles and chalcophile elements in arc magmas; (2) the timing and petrogenesis of porphyry and epithermal systems; (3) the physicochemical conditions that govern the formation of ore mineral systems; and (4) the geodynamic, magmatic, and metallogenic evolution of the Central Tethyan belt.
