Biographical Overview
Dr. Jacquey is a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at MIT. His research focuses on understanding the multiphysics controlling the deformation of porous rocks with a particular interest towards induced seismicity phenomena. He received his doctoral degree from the RWTH Aachen in Germany in 2017. Before joining MIT, he worked at the GFZ Potsdam (German Research Centre for Geosciences) on modeling coupled thermo-hydro-mechanical processes in faulted geothermal reservoirs and on modeling the dynamics controlling the brittle-ductile transition.
