Biographical Overview
Dr. Bolotskaya completed her PhD is ERL/EAPS in 2022 working with Prof. Brad Hager and continued working in ERL/EAPS as a postdoc until 2023.. She received her Bachelor's degree in Technical Physics from Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Russia in 2014. She received her Master's degree in Physics of Nanostructures from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Russia and her Master's degree in Energy, Oil and Gas from Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, Russia in 2016. She had an experience of working as a field engineer for Schlumberger in Buzuluk, Russia where she dealt with hydraulic fracturing of depleted reservoirs. She also worked in R&D Department of Gazprom, St. Petersburg, Russia where she was involved in modeling of two phase infiltration of fluids in porous media. Her current research interests include friction and fracture mechanics applied to induced seismisity.
