Dr. Qiu was a postdoctoral associate working with Dr. Nori Nakata in ERL/EAPS from 2021-2022. Before joining MIT he was a postdoctoral researcher at Rice U. His research mainly focuses on Multi-scale imaging and monitoring of the upper crust and Fault Zones. He is a particularly interested in fault zone phases, ambient noise imaging, monitoring seismic velocity temporal change, and inverse problems.
